Test & Tag
The current Australian Standard AS/NZS 3760:2010 specifies electrical testing required to be conducted in order to confirm the electrical safety of an item.
Our Technicians use a Portable Appliance Tester (PAT) to conduct these tests, and it remains one of the most comprehensive and efficient methods of ensuring an items electrical safety. Our service men each hold Restricted Electrical Licences to be able to conduct Test N Tag in your store.
All electrical equipment in the workplace (any equipment in your store that plugs into the wall) must be regularly tested and tagged to determine whether the appliance is electrically safe for use.
RHQ tests and tags all types of electrical refrigeration, cooking, heating and HVAC equipment, including:
FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR STAFF, MAKE SURE THAT ALL YOUR ELECTRICAL ITEMS ARE FIT FOR SERVICE AND THOSE DEEMED UNWORTHY ARE REMOVED FROM SERVICE TO PREVENT ELECTRICAL SHOCK.
The following table is an extract from AS/NZS 3760:2010 defining the fixed set of times that each type of equipment must be Test N Tagged.
